Mobile auto locksmith in Poynton
Poynton changed when the A555 relief road opened and met the A523 at the Hazel Grove end of the village, taking a great deal of traffic off London Road. The village itself still parks around the shops and the Civic Hall, with the station car park filling early on the line towards Manchester, and Waitrose taking the rest of the daytime turnover.
Higher Poynton is a different place again, up the hill on the far side of the Middlewood Way. The Nelson Pit car park there is the start of the old railway path and the canal towpath, and it fills with walkers and cyclists every weekend of the year, which makes it one of the more reliable places in SK12 for a key to go missing on a walk. That is an all-keys-lost job and we do it in the car park rather than after a recovery. Our coverage runs on to Hockley, Midway, Adlington and Woodford.

Things people in Poynton tend to ask before booking.
I lost my key on the Middlewood Way. Can you come to the Nelson Pit car park?
Yes, and it is a job we do up there regularly. Bring photo ID and the V5 or other proof the car is yours, since we confirm ownership before cutting a key. We cut and programme the replacement at the vehicle, and on most cars the lost key is deleted so it will not start the engine if it is found on the path.
Do you cover Higher Poynton and Woodford as well as the village?
Yes, along with Hockley, Midway and Adlington. Higher Poynton is up the hill and reached differently from the village itself, so say which of the two you are in when you ring and we will come in the right way.
