How it works
Most keys fail slowly: a button stops responding, the case cracks, the blade works loose or the battery contact wears out. Very often the electronics inside are fine and the key just needs a new case, a new blade or a repair to the circuit board. We fix what can be fixed and only recommend a new key when it is genuinely the better option.

The electronics are transferred into a new shell, keeping your existing programming.
Worn or loose blade
A new blade is cut and fitted, so the key turns cleanly again.
Buttons not working
Worn button pads and dry solder joints repaired or the board replaced.
Remote stopped working
Diagnosed on site. Sometimes a battery or re-sync, sometimes a board fault.

Is it cheaper to repair a key than replace it?
Usually, yes. A new case or blade costs a fraction of a new programmed key. If the chip or board is beyond repair we will tell you straight and quote for a replacement instead.
