How it works
A key that turns the lock but will not start the car, or a remote that has stopped locking the doors, usually needs programming rather than replacing. We programme new keys, re-sync remotes that have dropped out, and code keys you have bought elsewhere, provided they are the correct part for the vehicle.

Key starts the car but remote is dead
The remote side of the key has lost its pairing. Re-syncing it is usually quick.
Key will not start the car
The transponder chip is not recognised by the immobiliser. The key needs coding to the car.

Can you programme a key I bought on eBay?
Often, yes, as long as it is the right key for the car. Cheap keys are sometimes the wrong frequency or a locked chip that cannot be coded. Send us the listing before you buy and we will tell you.
